About Me

My love of cooking was instilled in me at an early age by my mother who grew up on a farm in South Georgia. I spent endless hours in the kitchen with her learning, experimenting, testing and tasting. Over the years I have taken numerous cooking classes, including classes from Johnson & Wales University, The Greenbriar Resort Gourmet Cooking Class, Savour Savannah, The New Orleans School of Cooking and private in home lessons. I enjoy entertaining and love planning menus, cooking and having parties where people can gather around good food to visit and catch up with family and friends. I am a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy's Personal Chef Undergraduate Course, a member of the US Personal Chef's Association and a member of Hireachef.com.
